An overview of what the enterprises are thinking of cloud adoption.
Its nice to see that only 20% respondents have no plans to develop a cloud computing strategy, but there was a clear preference for using dedicated hardware instead of public cloud infrastructure.
Virtualization is very popular, and the biggest benefit respondents perceive in cloud computing was hardware savings.

Search Engine Wars: The Statistics

I had hosted my website on April 11th around 1am and so I am considering my new website being indexed in Google, Yahoo! and Bing as a benchmark here.
Its been little more than 6 days or 144 hours since I have put up my website.
The search engines should make it a point to index every newly hosted legitimate website as soon as possible for all the users worldwide.
I had submitted my website to all search engines the next day manually and had registered my blog with blogcatalog and globeofblogs, so the game was even for all these biggies, I am not considering other search engines here.

Wow, I was shocked yesterday night that at 1am google had finally indexed my website, now this is way before I had expected it to do so, considering my last post.

In my search for getting indexed as soon as possible I had traveled to websites giving false information about indexing, so that I would buy their services which would ensure that I get listed right away, rather than waiting for months. It turns out there are several factors which expedite your inclusion in search engine’s indexes.
